Now, this one sounds just like the previous clip, right? Actually, if you listen carefully, you’ll notice the stroke/plucking technique is different–it is an important right-hand technique called the rest stroke. That technique gives the stroke a different sound–it makes the notes you play sound slightly fuller.
In the rest stroke, rest your plucking finger on the string above the one that has been plucked immediately after you pluck. We use “above” to mean higher in a spatial sense, not in pitch, which means that you will rest your finger on the thicker string adjacent to the one that you plucked.
